Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Dr. Mark is excited to practice in the area where he has deep roots and strong community ties. Dr. Mark’s journey in dentistry began with a strong educational foundation at the University of Virginia (GO HOOS!), where he completed his undergraduate studies. Inspired by a desire to make a meaningful difference in the field of dentistry, he continued his academic pursuits at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Following the completion of dental school, Dr. Mark embarked on his professional career, initially practicing as a general dentist in Florida. It was during this time that he discovered his true calling and recognized the unique opportunity to impact young lives through pediatric dentistry positively. After working with many anxious adults as a general dentist, he realized a lot of their negative experiences stemmed from childhood and wanted to help make a difference. Dr. Mark then decided to focus his practice exclusively on treating children to help them foster a healthy relationship with the dentist.
Dr. Mark sought advanced training through a Pediatric Dental Residency at BronxCare Health System, where he was appointed Chief Resident. He also passed his written boards for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is excited to work with his wife, Dr. S.K., and continue his mission of promoting healthy smiles and bright futures for children throughout Northern Virginia.
